There is unlikely another cyclist on the planet who has as much experience and broad scope of knowledge when it comes to bikepacking then Jay Petervary. Whether its gear, bike set-ups, systems, teaching others, mentoring, hosting events, and/or consulting, Jay has been doing it all obsessively, thoroughly and with great passion for 20 years! Jay has raced the Tour Divide route 7 times while winning and setting records along the way. He has raced the Iditarod 12 times while winning the 1,000-mile twice and the 350-mile twice, he has done the Silk Road Race 3 times, winning it as well, but also did it with a 16-year-old another year. Jay has racked up over 50 3+ day bikepack races which does not include his previous 15 years of other various ultra racing pursuits. It's not just the races, it's the years of testing and improving on every facet of bikepacking that has helped him become the preeminent source of bikepacking knowledge.
